I've been building websites since I was 16. By 18 I was running marketing campaigns, and I went on to work on large online campaigns while studying Graphic and Web Design at university.
Along the way I realised a website on its own isn't enough. A nice-looking site doesn't guarantee enquiries, and enquiries don't mean much if calls are missed, leads aren't followed up and past customers never hear from you again.
So I started building systems that connect all of it: the website, the follow-up, the reviews and the customers you already have.
The first client
My first client was Midlands Hot Tubs. In their first 14 days we booked £8,611 of work. By the end of the first month it was 76 enquiries, 20 jobs booked and 17 new five-star Google reviews.
That's when Owen Scaling stopped being an idea.
What I believe
Most businesses don't need another complicated piece of software or another agency promising to 'do marketing'. They need a system that captures every opportunity, follows it up and turns more of them into customers. That's what I build, and I run it for you.
Good businesses lose work for avoidable reasons
Talk to almost any electrician, plumber, roofer or builder and you'll hear the same things. The website was built years ago by someone who's since disappeared. Enquiries come in by call, text, email and social media, and some of them get missed. Quotes go out and nobody has time to chase them. Customers who were delighted three years ago haven't heard a word since.
None of that's a reflection of the quality of the work. It's just what happens when nobody's built a system around it. That's what I do, and then I run it for you for one monthly price.
