Lead capture
Why small businesses lose leads (and how to stop it)
The common, fixable reasons enquiries go cold at trades and local service businesses, missed calls, slow replies and no follow-up.

Very few leads are lost because a customer decided against the work. Most are lost quietly, in the gap between an enquiry arriving and somebody responding to it.
Missed calls are the biggest leak. If you're on a job you can't answer, and most people won't leave a voicemail, they ring the next business on the list.
Slow replies come next. An enquiry answered within minutes feels like a business that's on top of things. The same reply the following afternoon feels like a risk.
Then there's the quote that never got chased. Sending a price and waiting is not follow-up. Two short messages over the following fortnight recover work that would otherwise be gone.
Finally, scattered information: a number in your phone, a name on a notepad, a job written on the back of a delivery note. If you can't see all your open enquiries in one list, some of them will be forgotten.
None of this needs more effort from you. An automatic first reply, a notification for every enquiry, one inbox and a scheduled follow-up sequence closes all four gaps.
