Why your website isn't generating enquiries
Nine honest reasons a small business website produces very few enquiries, and what to change first.

If your website has been quiet for a long time, it's rarely one big fault. It's usually several small ones stacked on top of each other.
Nobody is finding it. If you're not visible for the searches your customers use, the quality of the site is irrelevant.
It's slow on a phone. Most visitors are on mobile data, standing somewhere with a problem to solve.
It doesn't say where you work. "Serving customers nationwide" makes a local customer assume you're not local.
It buries the phone number. If it isn't at the top of the screen and tappable, you're losing calls.
The form asks too much. Address, postcode, preferred contact time and a message box the size of a page will halve your enquiries.
There's no proof. No reviews, no photos of your own work, nothing that says other people have trusted you.
It reads like a brochure. Long paragraphs about "quality and professionalism" tell a customer nothing they can act on.
And when someone does get in touch, nothing happens quickly. A site can only start the conversation, what follows decides whether it becomes a job.
